Nyanyira Bible Church plant

Following our Lord’s command to ‘make disciples’ we sent two missionary couples to church plant in rural Chivi in February 2020. We believe the ultimate expression of missions is evangelism that results in church planting where disciples are made. Tapiwa Chaita and Clarify Takura came to Covenanters from rural Bhuhera after hearing and believing the gospel through a missions outreach from our pastors. They moved to Harare where they went through two years of intensive discipleship within the church and theological training through Harare Theological College and the Shona Bible Institute. It was at this time that they both got married to their lovely wives; Tapiwa to Hardlife and Clarify to Gladys.

God continued to impress upon them a heart for rural ministry. Convinced of their calling and their gifting, we sent them out to plant a church in Nyanyira, a village in Chivi district that has no biblical church presence within a 10km radius. We continue to pray for them and support them financially trusting in the fruit that the Lord will produce through these two dear families.
